Year 7 students took photos in response to the theme ‘City Life’
and what it means to them.
Sarah Hadadj
I chose this picture because I thought
that city life isn't only about buildings its about the greenery and most of
all the people that are there. Also I think that the colours look nice together.
Aisha Malen
This is a picture I took of “the front yard”. I choose this picture because this was the area I normally play in
the summer. I think its a good example of city life because it’s part of my
daily things and I go past it everyday.
Jaisri Elango
I chose the shopping mall because its a really big place
with lots of shops in it. It is near to my house and it can be very noisy and
crowded at times when the shops price goes down. I go there to by clothes and
accessories for myself and my family. Everyone comes here to buy all their
things.
Maliha Hawond
This picture relates
to city life for me because I live here and I see this place every single day. This building in is very important to me because it has a lot of memories in it, this is how it relates to city life. This also relates to city life because it is part of the city and people who pass by see it too.
Alicja Zdanowicz
This is part of my
city life because this is a view of a part of my street out of my bedroom
window. Also, I can see it every day and I walk to the shops, to school and
many different places. I have taken this photo because I thought that it was
interesting, it shows the sun, a few trees and some houses. The tree at the front of the photo is an apple
tree.
Hadyn Manning
I chose the tubes of London to represent city life because it is the 150th anniversary of the tube train. On the 9th January 1863 the world's first tube underground train pulled out of Paddington Station to make the first 3 and a half mile journey under the streets of London to Farringdon.
Maira Tahar
I chose this image to represent city life because it has cars driving down a road which is what happens everyday all around the city.
Haleema Mahmood
I chose Brixton Skate park to represent city life. I studied the history of the skate park and it has been open for 36 years and professional skaters have used the park such as Lucian Hendricks. There is also a lot of graffiti showing there is a lot of graffiti artists in London.
Rafia Mubeen
I chose this picture because it shows the London Eye and the busy city life and the weather
Sophie Tandacharry
I chose to take this picture as I think typical London is busy and has lots of old buildings. This photo also has the famous London underground sign. It shows the old and new architecture.
